The Ewing Law Center was founded in 1993 by Ms. Carey L. Ewing.
Carey L. Ewing has been a practicing attorney for over 30 years, focusing primarily on real estate and business matters. Ms. Ewing obtained her undergraduate degree from the University of Notre Dame and her Juris Doctor from South Texas College Of Law.
Ms. Ewing taught law at Campbell University Law School in Raleigh and also taught legal studies for paralegals at Durham Technical Commnity College (including Real Property 1 & 2, Corporate Law and Intellectual Property). Ms. Ewing is also a member of the Real Estate Lawyers Assocation of North Carolina (www.relanc.com), and has volunteered her time to many church and community projects including Habitat for Humanity.
Jack Tate has over 30 years of experience in the legal profession and handles much of the day of day office responsibilities as Ms. Ewing’s legal assistant.
Joseph Donnan, former program coordinator of the paralegal program at Durham Tehnical Community College also assists with several of the day-to-day operations including confirming parcel information with city agencies, loan payoff amounts with lenders, and more.
